When some of the pupils in the unit went skiing in February Aliya told us that she wanted to go away before the end of the year - added to this Charlotte told us that she wanted to chill-out somewhere after the end of her GCSE exams - so - we went back to the Stackpole Centre near Pembroke, Wales for a long weekend at the start of July 2000.

This is an attempt to capture the mood of the weekend.

Time to enjoy the sunny weather in the time honoured tradition of a bar-b-q.

Burnt burgers and hot dogs for everyone - Richard even got melted cheese slices on his hot dog!
I know my cooking is a bit dodgy at times but it must be bad if Andy needs to check his bun to see if his burger is well cooked!

 

As for Karen - no problem!
